Objectives

• To promote a conducive atmosphere for collaboration among countries in the regions of Southeast Asia and the Pacific through technology and information exchange, education and science.

• To increase scientific and technological knowledge about hydrological cycle, thus increasing the capacity to better manage and develop the water resources in a holistic manner.

Functions

• To standardize project’s implementation and cooperation especially in the hydrological and water resources study

• To establish a powerful networking between all the agencies in the National IHP and its continent and worldwide center in the exchange of scientific and technical information.

• To conduct an appropriate courses, trainings, seminars, workshops and meetings to generate technology ideas.

• To publish and distribute hydrological and water resources-related articles

Client Charter

HTC Kuala Lumpur provides quality services in accordance to department & UNESCO IHP strategies such as;

• Enhancing the collaboration and coordination amongst relevant parties in Research and Development activities
• Organizing Water Education in Hydrology and Water Resources, and
• Publication of the Journal of Water Resources Management
